How much money to live as a student in Syria?

I want to go to Syria to learn Arabic and I want to estimate how much money I will need to support myself if I share accomodation and taking Arabic cles. Actually for now, would like to know the cost of living there only as I can find out how much the cles will cost me. I will not be having a car and even if I live now in Canada and used to some comfort, I am not a Westerner. I can eat Muslim/Arabic food and I dont need much pre-packaged goods or shop in specific stores. I will need the Internet and a good place to live. I am also an adult student so still need a little comfort can't live in a completely rough environment hehehehe,
