Any fans of the movie The Covenant out there?

I thought that it had so much potential but fell far short. The story began with an interesting premise about 4 (and we later learn 5) boys that are descendants of families with special powers - powers that come with a price. The film seemed to be more intent on creating interest in the attractive bodies of the main characters then on creating any real interest in them or the plot. The special effects were nothing to get especially excited about, the acting was less than mediocre, and the film was very poorly written and directed in my opinion. If not for the fact that I tend to love movies of this genre I would have liked it even less.
